The Power of ONE Candy Shaw Education Scholarship was developed to honor Candy Shaw, one of the most celebrated champions of the mission and leadership upheld by Beauty Changes Lives.
This scholarship focuses on supporting current and future beauty professionals, with a special emphasis on Candy’s passion for continuing education.
The Power of ONE Day Fundraiser This scholarship is made possible by the 2024 One Day. One Ticket. fundraiser, spearheaded by Candy Shaw herself. This initiative encourages the beauty and wellness community to come together, supporting each other by donating the value of just one ticket on one day. The collective effort has made a significant impact, raising over $100,000 in its debut year and an impressive $135,000 in its second year.

Scholarships Available
Cosmetology Students:
One scholarship worth up to $5,000 is available for a current or newly enrolled student in a U.S. cosmetology program. This is an incredible opportunity to overcome financial barriers and pursue your beauty education.
Cosmetology Educators:
Two scholarships, each worth up to $2,500, are available for licensed cosmetology educators with five or more years of experience, who are enrolled in advanced education programs. This is the first-ever scholarship specifically for instructors looking to further their education.
Both scholarship categories include automatic registration in the Beauty Changes Lives Mentorship Matters program, where you’ll receive one-on-one guidance from industry icons, including a session with the amazing Candy Shaw herself!
